The Gitzo GT3542 Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod is a sturdy standard-height 4-section tripod designed to securely hold professional cameras with 300mm lenses (up to 400mm) while being portable. This professional tripod has tubes built in Carbon eXact, with larger diameter and stronger legs (the diameter of the highest leg section is 32.9mm) and heavy duty carbon fiber modules in the lower leg sections, making this tripod more robust and resistant than others in its class.
The Gitzo GT3542 weighs only 1.86 kg, reaches a height of 162 cm and when closed it occupies a space of 54 cm.

The quick central column of the tripod is easily removable or reversible, transforming the tripod into a practical ground level support so that image hunters can have the highest number of perspectives available. The four-section legs of the Gitzo GT3542 are secured by the G-lock Ultra system with turn stops, with an integrated circular seal that prevents dust and dirt from entering the leg mechanisms. The tripod head spider has been redesigned to achieve greater strength, and the wide angle selectors of the legs give a wider base to better adjust the opening. The tripod mounts a stabilizer hook in the center column to add weight and increase stability when needed. The removable base allows you to adapt the tripod to any type of terrain. Adding a large number of heads or accessories is very easy, thanks to the 1/4 "and 3/8" connection on the upper disc.
