The Nanlite Forza 500 II LED Spotlight offers exceptional power when considering its compactness and lightness, and being the second generation of this luminaire, it builds on all the strengths of the original while adding improvements in every respect.
The Forza 500 II was built for professional manufacturing with a heavy duty construction, control options for Bluetooth, DMX/RDM, 2.4G wireless and a glass protected COB.
The control unit has been completely redesigned and can operate efficiently on AC batteries or side-mounted 26V or 14.4V-14.8V V-Mount batteries (sold separately).
The 500 II provides extremely precise light and allows you to adjust the transition from green to magenta by +/- 80, thanks to the W(RG) LED light source.

The control unit is much smaller than the previous generation and works without a fan. Dimming is done in 0.1% increments to fine-tune the intensity.
The supplied cables are much longer: 6m for the power cable, 3m for the head cable and much longer cables are available separately.
It is compatible with a large number of Bowens mount light modifiers, including those offered by Nanlite.
A useful 55° reflector is included, and a number of other modifiers are available, such as the FL-20G Fresnel with metal doors (sold separately), which dramatically increase output.

The fork has been completely redesigned and allows 360° rotation, is curved to provide greater lean radius with large modifiers, features a continuous single-sided lockout for easy positioning, an umbrella mount for more options of light shaping and the base is compatible with both 5/8'' baby studs and 1 1/8'' junior studs.
The fan has 4 modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed and Off for absolute silence.
A redesigned padded carrying case, with improved padding, holds everything securely.
The USB port allows you to update the firmware to add new functions in the future and can power wireless DMX receivers (sold separately) or other devices.

Compact power
Forza instruments offer the highest quality of light while being as compact and lightweight as possible.
Every aspect of their design is intentional, such as the rectangular shape of the heads and control units, which can be stacked when assembling, disassembling or storing. Forza 500 II delivers an impressive amount of power from an impressively compact and lightweight head.

G/M adjustment
In shooting situations where it is necessary to mix the light from the 500 II with that of the environment or other fixtures, it can be extremely useful to adjust the green to magenta transition to match the other light sources.
This feature is also useful when you are trying to achieve a specific look and need to adjust the color to achieve it.
It's unusual for a 5600K projector to have G/M adjustment, but the Forza 500 II does.
