The Irix Cine lens 65mm T1.5 for MFT (Metric) features a Magnetic Mounting System unparalleled precision and versatility (MMS), allowing you to connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge line. The MMS filters can be stacked on top of each other, so you can not only combine them freely, but also save a lot of space when you store them. The MMS Lens Hood effectively protects the lens from unwanted light that can cause ghosting and flares.

Pre-filter thread

The Irix Cine lens 65mm T1.5 for MFT (Metric) has a 95mm pre-filter thread and geared Mod 0.8 M rings, ensuring compatibility with most accessories available on the market.

Lightweight and compact design

The Irix Cine lens 65mm T1.5 for MFT (Metric) meets the requirements of all filmmakers. Its aluminium and magnesium alloy construction and body weigh only 1.2-1.4kg.

Thanks to the perfectly refined optical system, your shots will have low distortions and aberrations. The lens' internal focusing system guarantees incredible sharpness. The 11-blade iris ensures beautiful bokeh and very smooth adjustment between T1.5 and T16.

Irix and gimbals work together

All Irix have a similar weight, which makes swapping on a gimbal very easy. In addition, the focus gears help with wireless follow focus. Its weight of about 1 kg acts as a perfect counterweight for most mirrorless cameras. It has been tested on many gimbals from the most popular brands such as Zhiyun or DJI.

To make use as easy as possible, the Irix Cine 65 mm is compatible with most follow focus systems, matte boxes, stabilisers and accessories available on the market. Moreover, it comes with a detachable lens support base - for stabilisation and reduced strain on the camera mount when using follow focus equipment.
