The Obsidian Pro is ready to capture all your adventures and experiences for stereoscopic 3D VR panoramic display with immersive 3D support at massive resolutions up to 12K30 x 12K30 or 6K60 x 6K60 resolutions. The Pro features eight APS-C sensors for each of its eight 195° f/2.8 fisheye lenses for beautiful cinematic capture with 24MP images, 14 stops of dynamic range, 12-bit raw and 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, and low-light ISO support up to 12,800.

Each of the Obsidian Pro 195° lenses records video output to the included high-speed 8-in-1 SSD module that comes with eight internal 512GB SSDs totaling 4TB. Or it can output video using the USB Type-C output to an external drive. It features 3.5mm audio input for embedding into your video and an HDMI type A output for up to 8K30 high-definition monitoring. The sensor array features a 9-axis gyroscope and a built-in GPS to keep your footage level and steady. Recording options include time-lapse functions, log mode, and DNG-format still capture, and you can record the files using 12-bit KDraw, 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ, or 8-/10-bit H.265 codecs. It also features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to provide control, preview, and file transfer options using the downloadable Kandao app.

The camera is powered using the included 12 VAC power adapter or by using an optional V-mount battery. It can be mounted on a tripod or rig using the multiple 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threads on its base. A hard-shell carry case, two antennas, lens covers for all eight lenses, an Ethernet cable, and a lens cleaning cloth are also included with the Obsidian Pro camera.
